Jennifer Lopez’s career is reaching new heights. The star is set to play a leading role in the upcoming film Office Romance, where she will be joined by Brett Goldstein, best known for portraying the football team captain in the series Ted Lasso.
The creators have yet to reveal details about the project but promise several standout performances.
Jennifer and Brett won’t limit themselves to acting—both will also join the production team, with Goldstein serving as one of the screenwriters. He already has experience in this field, having worked on a sports-themed series.
Netflix will release Office Romance, though securing the rights wasn’t easy for the platform.
“The concept of the film was so strong that several major companies competed for the chance to distribute the project,” Deadline reports.
This collaboration fits well with Lopez’s history with Netflix, having previously worked on the films The Mother and Atlas. Currently, the singer is also working on a series adaptation of the book Happy Place.
